I just took a look at
this video from Kim Love (from
Kimmaytube) and her new line of hair products at
Luv Naturals. I've always been an admirer of her channel because her videos and hair info are so informative and visually pleasing. I know some folks don't like her for various reasons (yes I followed the "natural drama" at some point) but I'm really focusing on the product line she's created. There are four products on the market right now:
Honestly, the ingredients for these products look great and it costs about the same (and maybe less) as other brands I like, such as Jessicurl. I'm into supporting small business, especially ones by Women of Color so I think I will be giving this a try.
Are any of you interested in trying the Luv Naturals Products?
I can't try at this time, I will wait for reviews and major sale.

DeleteI am very curious to try the products but i am so surprised at the lack of reviews/interest from others. I am a new natural on the seen and when i initially began my research on youtube and other sites many people raved about Kimmaytube. So i then turned to her channel and them helpful. Once i found out she had her own product I thought "This is great!" I figure anyone who put as much time & energy in studying natural hair, pH balance, etc., MUST have done the same with her own line of products. I am not familiar with any drama so maybe there's someyhing I'm missing here. It just seems like there aren't many supporters and it would be nice to see a lot more reviews on the quality of her products before I splurge and add to my collection.
ReplyDeleteI won't rehash the "drama" here, but I'm definitely interested in trying the Luv Naturals because it fits the ingredients fit into the criteria of what works for my hair and I loved the amount of information and dedication the founder presented to the "natural community." Maybe more reviews will come out soon by others, and definitely check back here for our take on the products because we will be trying them out. Thanks for your comment!
